The year 2020 will go down in history as a year of suffering and loss. It made us realise that health is the top priority, and how vulnerable our parents and grandparents are. We saw friends and family suffer, and some die outside hospitals for lack of beds.

Our own aged parents couldn't get quality, affordable care from agencies. They took upfront payment, charged more, sent inexperienced nurses, took a week to organise care and then refused a refund when the nurse didn't turn up.

That's when our team realised there is a better way to provide home care. In 2021 we founded Careait Health Services Private Limited in Bengaluru, using technology as the bridge that connects patients with hospital staff such as nurses, to improve home care and reduce deaths and infections from hospitals.
